| Glitch | A piece of game behavior regarded as unintended by the developers. What exactly counts as a glitch varies from game to game and may be heavily debated within a game’s community. |
| Glitchless | Literally, “without glitches.” This term is usually added on to other speedrunning categories: “Any% Glitchless,” for instance, means “getting to the end of the game as fast as possible, without using glitches.” A looser version of this concept is captured by the term “No Major Glitches” or NMG. |
