| effort value | (Pokémon) Hidden stats based on a Pokémon’s battle history. |
| enrage | (MMOs) A mechanic in which a boss becomes more difficult to defeat after a specific condition (typically elapsed time) is met. In a hard enrage, the boss becomes impossible to defeat, or instantly kills the entire party/raid, after a certain amount of time. A soft enrage gradually escalates the difficulty without instantly wiping the party. |
| enrage timer | (MMOs) A countdown timer that triggers an enrage mechanic when finished. In practice, enrage timers are almost always tied to hard enrage condition, meaning the fight must be completed before the timer expires or the party will wipe. |
